Local-first storage
All tasks, habits, reminders, and settings are stored locally on your device.
No account is required to use Floatbar.
The following data never leaves your device:
- Tasks, habits, or reminders
- Developer alerts or terminal output
- Usage activity or workflow data
- Device identifiers
- IP addresses related to app usage
Payments
Payments are securely processed through Dodo Payments.
When you purchase Floatbar:
- Dodo Payments processes your payment information
- A license key may be delivered to your email
- We receive confirmation of the completed purchase
We do not store payment card information.
Email usage
Your email address is used only for:
- License key delivery
- Purchase confirmation
- Important transactional communication
We do not send marketing emails or share your email address.
Website analytics
The Floatbar website may use lightweight, privacy-friendly analytics to understand general traffic and improve the product experience.

Children
Floatbar is not intended for children under 13 years old.
